Tip: ECM hysteria is no worse than EWAR balancing denial.
Best 1v1 PvP Battleship: The Scorpion, for a single reason; ECM f*cks up everything. And while it won't get the job done quickly, it will get it done very safely. The Dominix is a very close runner-up here. Both ships are for cowards.
Worst 1v1 PvP Battleship: Can anyone say Rokh? Vulnerable to just about every single form of EWAR and capwar, slow, ungainly and inflexible.
Best group PvP Battleship: Armageddon. A combination of that utility high, the dronebay and its fierce DPS and tankability lets it perform fantastically in groups. The second place is a tie between the Apocalypse and the Dominix, the former requiring unconventional setups for the part, the latter being the standard coward's fit.
Worst group PvP Battleship: Maelstrom. Wrong bonuses, wrong slot layout, wrong guns. Second here comes the Raven.
Best solo PvE Battlship: Raven, no doubt about it. For a couple mil skillpoints you get an easily fitted and insurable cash-cow that will last you all the way to a Golem.
Worst solo PvE Battleship: Scorpion. Useless bonuses and lacking performance in the non-EWAR departments. Second on the list is the Tempest, but it's a far second.
Best group PvE Battleship: Armageddon, once again. It can be fairly self-sustaining and nail down pretty much everything, while engaging in a remote-repping party that is hard to break. Second on the list is the Tempest, its obvious weaknesses negated by numbers and utility slots.
Worst group PvE Battleship: Scorpion. For probably obvious reasons. All other ships have useful bonuses and better choices of weapons.
Overall Best Battleship: Apocalypse. It's not the most flexible, it's not the most self-sufficient, but it does do what a battleship should do best, and assists its gang significantly.
Overall Worst Battleship: Hyperion. It's got all the vulnerabilities of the Rokh, but lacks the latter one's focus and usefulness under certain circumstances. _________________________________________________________
